South Texas Neuropsychology is a specialty practice dedicated to providing advanced clinical services including patient-centered neuropsychological evaluations and evidence-based treatment interventions for individuals with known or suspected conditions affecting cognitive abilities.

 

Our clinical services include comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults and children and neurocognitive screening evaluations for geriatric patients.  We accept referrals from physicians, federal and state agencies, attorneys, insurance carriers, and private individuals. 

 

Typical referral questions include: 

  • Testing to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning with individuals suspected of neurological or other conditions such as Alzheimer's, stroke, traumatic brain injury, or psychiatric disorders.
  • Evaluate current cognitive strengths and weaknesses to assist in rehabilitation or other treatment planning.
  • Establish baseline for future comparison evaluate interval improvement or decline.
  • Conduct neuropsychological independent medical exams (IME's). 
  • Evaluate cognitive strengths and weaknesses that may impact occupational functioning, independent living, or academic functioning.
